अद्भुत वास्तुकला और आस्था का पवित्र संगम: मोड़ी माताजी मंदिर, जावद (मध्य प्रदेश)
आज मध्य प्रदेश के जावद में स्थित अत्यंत प्राचीन और चमत्कारिक 'मोड़ी माताजी मंदिर' के दर्शन करने का परम सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ। यह स्थान केवल अगाध आस्था का केंद्र ही नहीं है, बल्कि हमारी प्राचीन धरोहर और बेजोड़ वास्तुकला का एक उत्कृष्ट और जीता-जागता प्रमाण है।
आज की यह विशेष आध्यात्मिक और सांस्कृतिक यात्रा कला और साहित्य के पारखी मित्रों के साथ संपन्न हुई। इस यात्रा में मेरे साथ कवि अमृत लाल चंगेरिया जी, डॉ. चंद्र शेखर चंगेरिया जी, पप्पू जी और शंकर लाल कुमावत जी उपस्थित रहे। हम सभी ने मिलकर इस ऐतिहासिक स्थल की भव्यता, दिव्यता और इसके निर्माण की बारीकियों को बेहद करीब से महसूस किया।
मंदिर परिसर में प्रवेश करते ही वहां की अद्भुत वास्तुकला (Architecture) ने हम सभी का मन मोह लिया। मंदिर के ऊंचे और रंग-बिरंगे कलात्मक शिखर, स्तंभों की बनावट और उन पर की गई चित्रकारी देखने लायक है। हमने पत्थरों पर उकेरी गई बारीक और मनमोहक कलाकारी को बड़े ध्यान से देखा। यह नक्काशी उस दौर के अज्ञात शिल्पकारों की मेहनत, कौशल और उनकी कला के प्रति समर्पण की अद्भुत कहानी बयां कर रही थी।
मंदिर दर्शन के दौरान जिस चीज़ ने हमें सबसे ज्यादा आकर्षित किया, वह थी वहां स्थित विशाल और ऐतिहासिक 'बावड़ी' (Stepwell)। सीढ़ीदार यह बावड़ी सिर्फ जल संरक्षण का पारंपरिक साधन नहीं है, बल्कि ज्यामितीय वास्तुकला (Geometric Architecture) का एक बेजोड़ अजूबा है। इसकी गहराई, सममितीय (symmetrical) सीढ़ियां, और पत्थरों से बने शानदार गलियारे देखकर हम सभी मंत्रमुग्ध रह गए। प्राचीन काल में जल प्रबंधन और कला का ऐसा बेहतरीन तालमेल सच में हैरान करने वाला है।
इस अद्भुत ऐतिहासिक और सांस्कृतिक नज़ारे का आनंद लेने के बाद, हमने मंदिर के गर्भगृह में जाकर माता रानी के दिव्य दर्शन किए। लाल चुनरी और आभूषणों से सजी माता की मनमोहक और तेजोमय प्रतिमा को देखकर मन को असीम शांति और सकारात्मक ऊर्जा की अनुभूति हुई। हम सभी ने शीश नवाकर माता रानी के चरणों में नमन किया और सभी की सुख, शांति, उत्तम स्वास्थ्य और समृद्धि के लिए प्रार्थना की।
मोड़ी माताजी की यह यात्रा केवल एक धार्मिक यात्रा नहीं थी, बल्कि अपनी जड़ों और ऐतिहासिक धरोहर को करीब से जानने का एक शानदार अनुभव रही। यदि आप इतिहास और वास्तुकला के प्रेमी हैं और माता रानी के सच्चे भक्त हैं, तो जावद (मध्य प्रदेश) स्थित मोड़ी माताजी का यह मंदिर आपके लिए दर्शन का एक आदर्श स्थान है। यहाँ आकर जो मानसिक शांति मिलती है, उसे शब्दों में पिरोना कठिन है।

A Divine Confluence of Faith and Architecture: Exploring Modi Mataji Mandir, Jawad
Today, I had the ultimate privilege of visiting the highly ancient and miraculous Modi Mataji Mandir situated in Jawad, Madhya Pradesh. This sacred place is not merely a profound center of faith but also a spectacular, living testament to our rich ancient heritage and unmatched architectural brilliance.
This special spiritual and cultural journey was completed in the wonderful company of friends who are true connoisseurs of art and literature. I was joined by Poet Amrit Lal Changeriya, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Changeriya, Papu Ji, and Shankar Lal Kumawat. Together, we closely experienced the grandeur, divinity, and intricate construction details of this historical site.
The moment we stepped into the temple premises, the marvelous architecture completely captivated our hearts. The towering, vibrantly colored shikhar (spires) of the temple, the structure of the pillars, and the vibrant paintings adorning them are truly a sight to behold. We spent time carefully admiring the intricate stone carvings and craftsmanship. These detailed engravings tell an awe-inspiring story of the hard work, skill, and sheer dedication of the unknown sculptors of that era.
During our temple tour, what fascinated us the most was the massive and historical Stepwell (Bawdi) located within the complex. This tiered stepwell is not just a traditional means of water conservation; it is an absolute marvel of geometric architecture. We were left entirely spellbound by its depth, the perfectly symmetrical descending stairs, and the magnificent stone corridors. The phenomenal synergy between ancient water management and artistic vision is genuinely astonishing to witness in person.
After soaking in this breathtaking historical and cultural scenery, we proceeded to the sanctum sanctorum for the divine darshan of Mata Rani. Seeing the radiant and captivating idol of the Goddess, beautifully adorned in a red chunri and exquisite jewelry, filled our minds with immense peace and positive energy. We all bowed our heads at the feet of Mata Rani, praying for everyone's happiness, peace, good health, and prosperity.
This visit to Modi Mataji was not just a religious pilgrimage; it was a fantastic experience of connecting deeply with our roots and historical heritage. If you are a lover of history and architecture, or a true devotee of the Goddess, this temple in Jawad, Madhya Pradesh, is a must-visit destination for you. The mental tranquility you attain here is hard to put into words.
